Websites and Flash.

Started to plan the design for our project, each setting will have its own hand drawn plan of style, fonts, colour scheme and event diary, The design for the main character has been completed and the different "faces" of the character is being drawn up, in photoshop. The image above is the first image, of my character, which is located on the start up page.

These designs have started to be put on publisher to map out where content/text will go, what will be occuring during the scene e.g. animation, audio. As shown in the image below, i have shown where buttons will appear on the page, what type of font I will be using for the title and a description of the image.

Despite this being similar to the ideal picture that i have in my head, i have created another variation to ensure that my idea is best for my project. I have take the character 'out of the box' to make it more interesting.

1st October

In our first lesson, we looked at frame examples from different children's games and websites. We then designed our own based on a 1024 x 768 preset size. I used the theme of sport to create a frame with will be present through out the inter game. This was a draft into how i wanted my frame to look and how i might create one in future, by trying out ideas inspired by previous examples. I took images from the Internet and edited them using photoshop and used the paint and sharpen tool to create the fire. I also had to edit the background in some images, due to a different colour background, i used the background eraser for this, which i had never used before.

In the second lesson, We looked at how basic calendering and gantt charts organise dates and tasks in a long term project. It showed how dates and events correlate and how dependant they are with each other.
